ADVERTISING Julius Baer's new advertising campaign 'Visionary Thinking' addresses some of the biggest challenges of our time and takes the viewer on a journey that delves deeper into these complex issues. The well-known Hollywood director Marc Forster was a consultant for the campaign and shot the TV commercial.

A subject of the "Visionary Thinking" advertising campaign. The Visionary Thinking" advertising campaign is an important part of Julius Baer's ambition to set the pace in the industry with forward-looking, innovative ideas and solutions. It is intended to establish the Bank as a leading provider in international private banking and as a visionary partner that makes clients aware of the challenges of tomorrow. The campaign complements and supports Julius Baer's 'Next Generation' concept, which aims to generate sustainable and socially responsible investment ideas, and the campaign's motifs highlight trends that are changing the world and how these can be translated into comprehensive investment solutions. The campaign creates a dialog with clients: the motifs address certain topics by posing a question. This question is then answered on Julius Baer's website, where corresponding investment ideas and solutions from the Bank's research team can be found. The first motif, 'Mars', presents the overall approach, while the other ads focus on specific research topics such as 'Global Nutrition', 'Urban Growth' or 'Changing Lifestyles'. "It is important that the campaign reflects our overall strategic approach," explains Boris F.J. Collardi, CEO of Julius Baer. "The 2008 financial crisis, the euro crisis, ongoing political problems around the globe - all of this is unsettling people. Every day we talk to clients who are worried about the course of world events. We want to show that we know what is happening today and that we can translate this knowledge into comprehensive, sustainable investment solutions. "Hollywood director Marc Forster was the creative consultant for the campaign. He was also responsible for producing the TV commercial, which captures the idea of "Visionary Thinking" in a very emotional way. "Nowadays, the design of a commercial is less about showing a product and more about evoking emotions and eliciting a reaction. In this case, it's about a metaphorical journey through life - the financial and creative challenges you face," he explains. His concept for the commercial was born out of the bank's commitment to always look ahead and have a clear vision for the future. "Julius Baer is a bank that constantly strives to discover and explore the unknown. The movie takes us through human history in fast motion to show this: We started in the water, then we conquered the skies and finally we explored space," says Marc Forster. The campaign, which was developed by the German communications agency "Zum goldenen Hirschen Köln", was launched in Switzerland at the end of last year and will now also run in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
