Vera Riemeier: Rethinking Career Development for Women

With YNDPNDNCY, Vera Riemeier is launching a platform in the DACH region that views strategic career development for women as a key economic issue for the future—not merely as a motivational topic.

When Competence Alone Is No Longer Enough

In a workplace that is undergoing fundamental changes driven by artificial intelligence, economic uncertainty, and constant pressure to transform, professional expertise and performance alone are no longer enough. Strategic visibility, negotiation skills, and the ability to actively shape one’s own position are becoming increasingly important—and it is precisely in these areas that women remain underrepresented in many companies. YNDPNDNCY [Independency] is a new platform emerging in the DACH region that focuses on targeted career development for women. It was initiated by Vera Riemeier, a former member of the executive board at a major communications agency.

Although women lead teams, drive projects, and take on operational responsibilities, they often remain less visible and hold less strategic influence in key roles and influential positions. «The modern workplace no longer rewards performance alone,» says founder Vera Riemeier. «Visibility, strategic influence, and the ability to actively shape one’s own position are becoming increasingly important. Women often lack not competence, but access to precisely these strategic tools.»

The Female Future Program as the Cornerstone of Career Development for Women

At the heart of the platform is the «Female Future Program»—an eight-week, digital-first career training program for ambitious women in the DACH region. Unlike traditional executive programs, pure networking formats, or isolated coaching offerings, YNDPNDNCY combines strategic career development with practical applicability in everyday professional life. Participants work with practical tools and methods focused on positioning, negotiation, visibility, leadership, and career development.

The program is based on the proprietary PPP framework: Purpose – Position – Perform. It is supplemented by live training sessions, peer learning, group reflection, and individual coaching in collaboration with the Bridgehouse Coaching Institute. YNDPNDNCY deliberately positions itself not as a traditional empowerment platform, but as a new generation of strategic career development—with a focus on economic self-determination, strategic clarity, and the ability to take action in a volatile job market.

Initial Results and the Next Cohort

The first two cohorts of the Female Future Program have already been successfully completed. Participants report feeling more confident in negotiations, making clearer career decisions, gaining greater visibility within the company, and discovering concrete new career opportunities through the emerging network. «Many women achieve a great deal but remain below their true potential in terms of visibility and negotiation skills,» says Riemeier. «We don’t just want to motivate women. We want to give them concrete tools, structures, and strategic clarity so they can actively shape their professional development.»

The next cohort starts in June 2026. Registration is expected to remain open until the end of May. With YNDPNDNCY, Vera Riemeier is positioning herself as part of a new generation of platforms that view women’s professional development not primarily as a matter of diversity or motivation, but as a strategic issue for the future of modern workplaces.
