Valencia: The Christmas miracle continues

«It’s Christmas at Coop»—the holiday campaign enters its second round, and Valencia Kommunikation is once again making Christmas hearts beat faster.

"Never change a winning team." Following this motto, Tommy Schilling - the CD responsible for Christmas miracles at Coop - brought the dream team of the 2013 Christmas campaign back in front of the camera: In 2014, we see the cheeky little snow fairy and her older brother as well as mom and dad together with Santa Claus and - new - a family dog in a leading role. Even the Schmutzli can be seen briefly scampering through the picture on his bicycle in one scene.

The central medium of the campaign is TV. The commercials tell Christmas stories that could be found in the Schweizer family and at the same time present Coop's daily festive offers.

A total of five new commercials were produced in 2014, all of which, as Tommy Schilling points out, "awaken the great Christmas spirit. The TV campaign is accompanied by radio and print advertising, which is used throughout Switzerland to announce new customer benefits on a daily basis. Naturally, all advertising materials from print to POS have also been refreshed with new motifs.

The campaign will start in week 48 with an image spot on SRF. This will be followed from December 1, 2014 by the festive market spots with the daily specials.
