Tom Berger takes over as head of the Polit-Forum Bern
Tom Berger will become the new director of the Polit-Forum Bern. The board of the sponsoring association unanimously elected him to succeed Lukas Hupfer, the association announced on Friday.

The 37-year-old business economist Tom Berger has been a member of the Bern City Council since 2016. At present, the liberal is second vice president and should thus preside over the parliament in 2025.
The temporary commitment as "highest Bernese" is well compatible with the management of the Polit-Forum Bern, writes the sponsoring association. Berger will resign from other offices before he takes up his post on December 1 or in the coming months.
As a project manager at the Polsan agency, Berger has been managing several consulting mandates and business offices since 2015. Previously, he worked for ten years in various functions at SBB. (SDA/swi)
