Tina Rodriguez becomes CEO ad interim of Zattoo
Zattoo’s Board of Directors has appointed Tina Rodriguez as interim CEO, effective April 1, 2026. She succeeds Roger Elsener, who is leaving the company to take on the role of Director of Swiss Radio and Television (SRF). With this appointment from within its own ranks, the TV streaming provider is ensuring that its current strategy will be consistently carried forward.
The Board of Directors of Zattoo appoints Tina Rodriguez as CEO ad interim as of April 1, 2026. She succeeds Roger Elsener, who is leaving the company at his own request on April 30, 2026 to take up the position of Director of Swiss Radio and Television (SRF). With this appointment from within its own ranks, Zattoo is ensuring that the strategy it has adopted will be consistently pursued.
Successful term of office for Roger Elsener
Roger Elsener has been CEO of Zattoo since October 2024 and has provided important strategic impetus during this time. Under his leadership, the company strengthened its market position through new partnerships and growth initiatives. These include ad sales cooperations with HBO Max and Paramount+, new platform partners such as Digitec Galaxus, Waoo, Kabelnoord and WWZ and the integration of the ARD and ZDF media libraries.
Under Rodriguez's leadership, the strategy adopted will now be consistently pursued in close coordination between the Board of Directors, management and the entire Zattoo team.
Experienced leader takes over
Tina Rodriguez, an experienced international manager, is taking over the operational management. She has been Chief Consumer Officer at Zattoo since January 2026 and is responsible for the direct-to-consumer business and corporate communications. She previously held management positions at Liberty Global, Sunrise, UPC Switzerland, Unity Media and other companies. Her focus was particularly on customer experience, entertainment products and growth programs.
