Syndicom regrets the closure of the Saint-Paul printing plant
Syndicom was saddened to learn of the announced closure of the St. Paul newspaper printing plant. The closure was reportedly forced by the FN’s decision to no longer have its newspaper printed by the St. Paul Group.
Syndicom is calling on Freiburger Nachrichten FN to reverse its decision. The shareholders of FN should be aware of the damage that the decision of the FN Board of Directors is causing to the symbolic Fribourg company, according to a Syndicom press release issued on Thursday. The St. Paul management is being asked to work with the union to find solutions to save the jobs. The union will fight together with the employees to save the printing plant and all affected jobs.
