Starting signal for the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2011
Designers and companies from all over the world are once again invited to submit their products for the Red Dot Design Award.
In 2011, the Red Dot Award: Product Design will be judged in eighteen different groups; the former category "Architecture and Interior Design" will be split into the new categories "Interior Design" and "Architecture and Urban Design" for the first time this year.
The award ceremony for all winners of the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2011 will take place on July 4, 2011 in a festive setting at the Aalto Theater in Essen. The Red Dot Design Museum will be showing all the winning products in a
Afterwards, the award-winning products will be exhibited for at least one year in the Red Dot Design Museum at the Zollverein UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Manufacturers and designers whose products have been industrially manufactured and launched on the market after January 1, 2009 or will go into series production before July 1, 2011 are eligible to participate.
Registration fees:
Early Bird until December 3, 2010: 200 Euro
Regular until January 21, 2011: 220 Euro
Latecomers until February 9, 2011: 240 Euro
Award ceremony: July 4, 2011
Special exhibition: July 5 to August 1, 2011
