SNK develops brand positioning and image for PHZH

SNK worked closely with the communications team at the Zurich University of Teacher Education (PHZH) to develop the brand positioning and structure and create the new design.

This includes everything from the logo and all templates to quick fixes for digital media such as the website, intranet and Studiweb.

The Zurich University of Teacher Education combines the areas of education, continuing education, research and services under one roof and appeals to a wide range of target groups, from prospective teachers to school authorities and university lecturers. With its new image, the PHZH provides orientation and at the same time combines the claim to be a leading university with the diversity and liveliness of everyday student life. While the seal-like logo underlines the university's position, the flexible, colorful layout conveys the breadth of offerings and life at the PHZH.

The basis for the development of the brand strategy, positioning and structure included the requirements and expectations from numerous interviews that SNK conducted with internal and external stakeholders. For Reto Klink, Head of Communications at PHZH, the key requirement was a pragmatic approach: "In SNK, we found a professional team player that knows how to develop a convincing solution efficiently and cost-consciously - from the strategy to the digital quick fix." Reto Klink and his PHZH team were able to implement most of the adaptations themselves based on the templates defined by SNK. From mid-September 2015, the new design will be gradually introduced across all areas of the PHZH.
