Swiss press does more for foreign relations

Association The Swiss Press Association (CHP) has approved the formation of a Department of External Relations, which will be headed by Peter Wanner (AZ Media Group). Other members are two political figures: National Councillor Filippo Leutenegger (Jean Frey) and Councillor of States Filippo Lombardi (President Telesuisse). The association has also renamed the "Technology" department to "Electronic Media and Technology". This broadening is particularly beneficial to publishing houses that also operate television and radio stations.
