Ruf Lanz celebrates 40 years of Concrete Art with Museum Haus Konstruktiv
The Haus Konstruktiv Museum is celebrating its 40th anniversary with a new campaign by Ruf Lanz. The agency pays tribute to the Zurich Concrete Artists—including Max Bill, Verena Loewensberg, and Richard Paul Lohse—with a concrete declaration of love for Zurich. Six visuals combine well-known Zurich landmarks and icons with the formal language of Concrete Art.

In 2026, the Haus Konstruktiv Museum will celebrate its 40th anniversary, honoring four decades of Concrete Art in Zurich. The Zurich-based agency Ruf Lanz is behind the anniversary campaign, having created a visual declaration of love for the city and its Concrete artists.
Zurich Icons in a Concrete Design Language
The campaign combines iconic Zurich locations and objects with the distinctive visual language of Concrete Art. Six designs incorporate Zurich icons such as the Odeon, the Kronenhalle, the Sternen Grill, Sprüngli, the Freitag bag, and other well-known landmarks into the geometric visual language of the Zurich Concrete Art movement led by Max Bill, Verena Loewensberg, and Richard Paul Lohse.

The campaign images show just how deeply Concrete Art is embedded in the DNA of the city of Zurich. The clean lines, precise colors, and geometric rigor once developed by the Zurich Concrete artists are now reflected in the city’s everyday symbols.
Plans for Diverse Media Use
The six campaign designs are being used as posters, e-panels, and advertisements, drawing attention to the museum’s anniversary throughout the city. This visibility highlights the connection between the museum, the art movement, and the city.

The Haus Konstruktiv Museum is regarded as a major institution for Concrete and Constructive Art and preserves the legacy of the Zurich Concrete artists, who set international standards. The anniversary campaign celebrates this tradition and makes it accessible to a broad audience.
