RTVG: Commission creates differences
Media Policy: The National Council's preliminary review committee has concluded the reconciliation of differences in the Radio and Television Act with new proposals.
Media policy The National Council's pre-advisory committee has concluded the revision of the RTVA with new proposals: it wants to set the fee share for private stations at 4 percent instead of allowing a margin as the two councils did. It wants to ban alcohol advertising on all national and regional-language TV channels, including advertising windows. Political advertising should only be permitted on private radio stations. It is also sticking to the National Council's proposals to limit media concentration.
