Roger Müller moves from the Swiss Football League to the Koch agency
Roger Müller, the long-standing Chief Media & Marketing Officer of the Swiss Football League, will join the Koch agency team on April 1, 2022.
After 16 years with the Swiss Football League, Roger Müller will join the Koch agency in spring 2022. In recent years, Roger Müller has been responsible for the Swiss Football League's digitalization as well as its marketing. At the Koch agency, he will add his expertise to the areas of strategy, digitization and customer journey.
Müller comes from a background in business journalism, where he worked at Tamedia for over five years. With his advanced training in CAS Digital Strategy and Value Creation, he brings additional skills to the table.
Michael Koch, co-owner and Head of Digital, describes the transfer as a bull's eye: "Roger Müller is an outstanding digital expert who joins our agency. Roger Müller is no stranger to the agency. As an agency, it has been shaping the online channels of the Swiss Football League for eight years and has worked closely with the new team member on the client side during this time.
Koch Agency expands digitization expertise
With Roger Müller, the agency is strengthening and also expanding its competencies in the digital area. Roger Müller will, in effect, be part of the Koch agency team. In this role, he will lead digital client projects from the B2C and B2B sectors. With his sports expertise, he is of course also an ideal link to Koch's newest unit - Koch Sports GmbH. There, he will use his know-how and experience from sports marketing and work hand in hand with the Managing Director of Koch Sports, Sascha Heyer.
"The change from the client side to the agency appeals to me enormously. The constellation at Koch is tailor-made for me. The communications agency as well as Koch Sports GmbH open up fields where I can fully contribute my passion and knowledge," Müller says about the new task.
With the expansion of its staff, the agency will provide existing and new clients with even more focused and holistic support in the increasingly complex digital topics.
