Rod: TV spot for Radio 24 morning show
Radio 24 is launching a TV commercial created by Rod this weekend. The stars of the commercial are the two morning show hosts, Dominik Widmer and Patrick Hässig.
Since the beginning of the year, they have been taking turns on a regular basis to host the most popular Radio 24 show. The TV spot will run immediately on Pro 7, Kabel 1, SIXX, Comedy Central, MTV, RTL 2, 3+ and Tele Züri and will be seen on selected stations until mid-September, according to a statement.
After four and a half years as host of the morning show "Ufsteller," Patrick Hässig took a break in the second half of 2012. From August 2012, Hässig worked as a presenter for Swiss television before returning to Radio 24 as a presenter after six months. In the meantime, Dominik Widmer woke up listeners. Widmer joined Radio 24 from Zug's Radio Sunshine and within a year was built up as morning presenter and successor to Patrick Hässig.
Since the beginning of the year, Radio 24 has now had two morning show hosts who regularly take turns hosting. "Widmer zum Zmorge" and "Hässig am Morge" is accordingly also the theme of the TV commercial conceived by Rod, which can be seen on TV starting this weekend. Every day from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m., one of the two will be at the microphone to wake up Zurich. The music for the spot was composed by Great Garbo and directed by Zweihund.
