RLC Packaging Group takes over Limmatdruck / Zeiler
Effective retroactively as of July 1, 2011, the RLC Packaging Group, headquartered in Hanover (Germany), is acquiring Limmatdruck, based in Spreitenbach/AG, and Zeiler, based in Köniz/BE. The Migros Cooperative Federation (MGB), as the previous owner, is thus divesting itself of the packaging business because it no longer falls within Migros’ core activities.
As the packaging business is no longer part of Migros' core business, various options were examined in the past in order to successfully position Limmatdruck AG / Zeiler AG in a challenging market, the FMC stated in a press release. The takeover by the German family-owned company RLC Packaging Group represents an optimal solution for Limmatdruck / Zeiler and its employees. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
