Ringier Print Adligenswil: Vlada Mihailovic becomes new Managing Director
The printing company Ringier Print Adligenswil, LU, is getting a new managing director: Vlada Mihailovic will take over as head of the printing company in Adligenswil no later than May 1, 2012.
Mihailovic has been Managing Director of Südostschweiz Partner in Haag SG since March 2006. Prior to this, he worked for one and a half years as Technical Manager and Head of Process Optimization at the AZ Medien Group in Aarau. Born in Germany, Mihailovic completed his degree in industrial engineering and printing at Vogt-Schild/Habegger Medien in Solothurn in 2000. Mihailovic then worked as an assistant to the management at the same company until 2002 and then moved to the Management Board of König & Bauer Druckmaschinen in Würzburg as an assistant.
The 38-year-old takes over from 66-year-old Bruno Blaser, who worked for Ringier for more than 42 years. Blaser held several positions at the company during this time. From 1970, for example, he was responsible for setting up and managing the training and development of offset reproduction in Zofingen, then headed up this area, was Head of Prepress, a member of the management of C.J. Bucher Lucerne/Offset Center Adligenswil, became Head of Human Resources at Ringier Zofingen in 1988, was Head of Newspapers Central Switzerland at Ringier from 1993, was Head of Publishing from 1996, a member of the Executive Board of Neue Luzerner Zeitung, then Publishing Director of Blick/SonntagsBlick from 2000 - and since October 2009 Managing Director of Ringier Print Adligenswil and a member of the Executive Board of Ringier Switzerland. During his time at Ringier, Bruno Blaser was also a member of the Board of Directors of Radio Pilatus Lucerne, 2R Media, Locarno, Wemf and MM&B in Budapest.
Ringier Print in Adligenswil currently employs around 300 people, produces more than 60 newspaper titles, has five state-of-the-art rotary offset printing presses with an output of up to 210,000 newspapers per hour and generated sales of CHF 72.7 million in 2010.
