Radiotalk in the film studio

If you care about your customers and want to keep them, you should treat them to something nice every now and then. It’s a wise saying, but one that applies beyond the communications industry.

If you love your customers and want to keep them, you should offer them something nice more often. Michi Frank and Mehmet Inan from IP Multimedia took this to heart and created the IPM Radio Event. There, various experts discussed topics related to radio advertising on the podium. In addition to the two hosts, these included Initiative Media Managing Director Stephan Küng, Roland Baumgartner, Managing Director of Radio Argovia, Radio 105 owner Giuseppe Scaglione and Valter Pontiggia, Head of Marketing at Opel marketer Ruckstuhl.
Even if there was not always complete agreement on the podium - some would have liked to see radio positioned as the lead medium, of course, while the agency and customer side took a somewhat more differentiated view - things were fair. They didn't want to hurt each other or even behave indecently; after all, the radio marketers were the hosts.
If you want to please with such events in the advertising industry, you have to follow another maxim: One should celebrate the celebrations as they fall! The organizers also took this into consideration and coupled the clever discussion with the "ultimate Radio 105 party".
Although - typical! - a quarter of the registered guests didn't show up, the aisle and studio were nevertheless filled with around 150 people, who then rocked their feet to the rhythms of 105 star DJs Tatana, Vitamine S and Zanussi. Among them Paola Libera from 105 with her new assistant Claudia Puppato.
Last week, 105 boss Scaglione proved once again that he is not unjustly nicknamed "little Schawinski" within the industry. With his actions, he, too, is constantly providing new topics of conversation and ensuring that his station remains present in the media. Whether his latest offensive against SRG - a complaint to the Competition Commission - will be crowned with success remains to be seen. But then, it took Schawinski almost a decade to break the radio monopoly. Keep on fighting, Beppe! News also from Jürg Oetterli of Oettigrafix. His studio renovation, which has been going on for several years, is actually supposed to be finished this year and celebrated with a party. But we won't believe that until we've had our first drink there. Keep on building, Oetti!
The seating for the audience during the podium talk was original. The hall was filled with inflated seat cushions. This caused some amusement at the beginning, because the cushions required a bit of acrobatic skill until one was able to sit on them with a few contortions. But at the end, you could let the air out and take the plastic tires home with you for the swimming pool at home or for a swim in the lake soon.
The whole thing took place in the studios of Primetime in Schlieren, where in the past there have often been lavish parties, which you could read about in this column. Bettina Bussey and Oliver Neubert were in charge, but since the two of them are now working at Popfilm, as we heard, these parties will probably take place at new locations in the future.

in sea blue air. The pneuform seat cushions were allowed to deflate and be taken home. Because the organizers professionally relied on a short speaking time, the back injuries were kept within limits. At the following Radio 105 party one could loosen the back muscles again. At the bar, not with movement dance.
