Radio 1 brings a breath of fresh air to the program
This spring, Radio 1 is introducing new lineups for two of its most popular shows. Elena Wagen will host Roger Schawinski’s «Doppelpunkt,» while Kevin Schawinski will debate with Markus Somm on the political talk show.
Radio 1 surprises with selective changes to two of its best-known programs. Roger Schawinski's legendary "Doppelpunkt" will exceptionally be hosted by Radio 1 presenter Elena Wagen on March 29 and April 12.
There will also be special editions of the political debate: On March 23 and March 30, instead of "Roger versus Markus", it will be "Kevin versus Markus" for once. AI entrepreneur Kevin Schawinski will be discussing the important topics of the moment with Nebelspalter editor-in-chief Markus Somm.
Offering talents a stage
Radio 1 boss Roger Schawinski says: "Offering talent a stage has always been a major concern of mine. I think Elena and Kevin will add a few splashes of color to Radio 1's spring program."
However, Schawinski does not want the program experiment to be understood as "cutting back": "For me, it is a gain in freedom if I can do without a program every now and then. But of course: Doppelpunkt and Roger versus Markus will continue to be on with me for the most part."
Listeners can therefore look forward to exciting weeks with new voices and fresh perspectives in the Radio 1 program.
