Philipp Mäder not for the Sonntagsblick after all
Philipp Mäder, the current news editor of *Schweizer Illustrierte*, will not be joining *SonntagsBlick* as deputy editor-in-chief at the start of the new year, as reported in August. The position will be filled by someone else.
With the start of Christian Dorer as the new Editor-in-Chief of Sonntagsblick, Philipp Mäder should also have moved to the newsroom of the Blick Group as Deputy Editor-in-Chief as of February 1, 2017 (Werbewoche.ch reported). For private reasons, this change will not take place now.
Philipp Mäder will remain at Schweizer Illustrierte in a new role as head of politics and as the person responsible for digital projects, and will work primarily in Bern.
The position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief at Sonntagsblick will be filled elsewhere, and the search is already underway.
