Commuter newspaper radio combo?
Public transport commuters can be reached in 20 minutes, but hardly any car commuters.
The new Radio Millions pool could help fill this gap, as its Zurich module (Hitradio Z, Top, Argovia, Sunshine) covers the Zurich area extensively. Would a commuter combination of 20 Minuten Zürich and the Zurich pool module make sense? André Funk from the CIA agency comments: "Both are interesting for the commuter target group even without a combination, but I would prefer to book them with a combined rate." Millions Pool spokesperson Roland Baumgartner waves it off: "We haven't even considered something like that yet." Rolf Bollmann, publishing director of 20 Minuten, disagrees: "I've already thought about it, and I'm also in talks with individual representatives of the Millionen-Pool." For example with top boss Günter Heuberger. "As a small shareholder in 20 Minuten, I talk to Bollmann every month. But we didn't discuss a combination," says Heuberger. The catch:
20 Minuten is affiliated with Radio 24. If the pool of millions succeeds in bringing the orphaned Pool 2000 modules Bern and Basel on board (see p. 5 and 18), a commuter station wagon in the Golden Triangle would even be possible (mk).
