Paymit app explained with a smile
Who would use Paymit if they didn't know how easy it is to use? SIX and Zürcher Kantonalbank asked themselves this question, which is why they teamed up with Filmgerberei and Sergeant to produce an online video, pre-roll ads, and a movie theater commercial.
An innovative product that will help shape the Swiss market. This was the opportunity to present the otherwise rather dry and abstract financial topic in a tangible and sympathetic way. The Paymit app (Werbewoche.ch reported about it) allows customers to send or request money from smartphone to smartphone. No more waiting for friends to transfer money. A few clicks and the money is transferred. Sounds simple. It is. But it still has to be made palatable to the potential user.

So how do you explain an app in such a way that it's not a boring manual and appeals to the general public? You resort to situations from life that (almost) everyone knows in some way. And you use humor as a storytelling tool. In the end, everyone knows what it's all about. After all, who has never been in a situation where they had to quickly organize a gift? The humorous short story is a success. The film was used by Zürcher Kantonalbank to market Paymit and has seen a marked increase in downloads of its e-banking mobile app and activations of the Paymit function since the communication launch.
