Paroli designs online traceability tool for Remei

With the new traceability tool from Remei, the path of sustainable textiles made from organic cotton can be traced back to their origin with just a few clicks. The concept for this was developed by the Zurich PR agency Paroli.

The aim was to create transparency and trust while focusing on the people behind the products, according to the agency. With the Traceability tool The world map on the website allows you to trace the path of production for each item of clothing: from the brand to the producer and the spinning mill to the origin of the organic cotton. Each individual production step is commented on in interviews. Various photo galleries also document the work and the environment.

According to the press release, Remei produces sustainable textiles made from organic cotton for a wide range of brands such as Coop Naturaline, Globetrotter, Greenpeace, Mammut and Stöckli. Each item of organic cotton clothing has a numerical code that can be entered into the new traceability tool. If you don't have a code, you can track a randomly selected item of clothing along its production route. The aim is not only to gain an insight into the various stages of the journey from the organic cotton seed to the store shelf, but also to get to know the people behind the products.

Appline, Apps and more in Lucerne is responsible for the technical implementation of the traceability tool.
