Neue LZ cancels participation in Anzeiger Luzern

Print Neue Luzerner Zeitung AG (Neue LZ) has decided not to acquire a stake in Anzeiger Luzern AG for the time being. In March, Neue LZ announced the acquisition of a 30 percent stake in its local competitor, but in August the "closing of ranks" was quietly called off. Erwin Bachmann, board delegate of Neue LZ, explained to Werbewoche that the investment in Anzeiger Luzern was "not the top priority right now".
