New warehouse, new TV spot

Following its successful branding campaign in 2014, Powerfood—an online and retail retailer that now operates as far as Geneva—moved into a new warehouse with significantly greater capacity. A good reason for a new TV commercial.

What it's like behind the scenes at Powerfood will be on TV from March 25. The events in the company's own warehouses in Schaffhausen will be portrayed with a wink of the eye, raising the company's own profile in the process: Between towers of cartons and athletic bikini girls, the warehouse clerk performs his work in an artistic manner and casually handles the pending orders. It's easier when you're at the source.

Once again, the Winterthur production company Zweihund was commissioned with the concept and implementation. To put the warehouse in the "right light", DoP Roli Schmid was called in and more than four tons of lighting material were suspended in the hall. The work was done with light barriers and a 14 meter long linear motion control system, which was developed especially for the project, so that the tricks and special effects could be shot "in-camera" and at the end hung together in the post to form an onetake.

The campaign launch is sensibly taking place shortly before the bathing season and this time also in French, for the purpose of further opening up the market in western Switzerland: In Geneva's residential quarters, too, people will probably be disappointed when the postman - and not a cardboard box tower-balancing bikini girl - rings at the door.
