Nemuk: Homepage for Swiss Olympic

Nemuk designed the homepage for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London on behalf of Swiss Olympic. The goal is to provide visitors with quick access to all relevant news about the Swiss delegation—including through social media.

The page has been online since July 4, 2012, and will remain so until after the Olympic Games in London. The large and emotional image worlds are intended to reflect the dynamics of the sport, according to a statement. The focus will be on Facebook photo albums and videos from the YouTube channel. During programming, care was taken to ensure that the site is optimally displayed on all devices.

The heart of the site is the social stream, which was designed and developed specifically for this site. There, the visitor receives all social media news of Swiss athletes as a so-called "activity feed". The information can be filtered by channel (blog, Facebook, Twitter or YouTube), by sport (via dropdown) or by favorite athlete (manual search). The posts are pulled directly from the athletes' respective accounts and are linked to them.

The social stream is also available on the Facebook fan page by Swiss Olympic as an app. In this way, sports enthusiasts receive insights and reports about experiences and sensitivities directly from the athletes. In the backend, 54 Swiss athletes with a total of 73 social media accounts are already registered and new accounts are constantly being added.

Responsible at Swiss Olympic: Philipp Furrer, Ole Rauch, Fabian Probst. Responsible at Nemuk: Nicole Gerber (Concept, Consulting), Roger Bischof (Art Direction). Programming of the home page: Biznet. Programming Social Feed: Required+.
