Nemuk launches social media tool Somsum

Nemuk and Required+ are launching Somsum, a tool that collects selected social media content and integrates it into a company’s website. The tool is ideal for businesses, events, campaigns, publishers, and anyone who wants to curate social media content.

Somsum stands for "Social Media Summary," according to the release. The aim of the content curation tool is to bundle social media news about events, campaigns, teams or companies into a clear stream. The first building block for the Content Curation Tool was laid with the order from Swiss Olympic to let athletes have their say during the London 2012 Olympic Games. The result was an online tool that attracts the athletes' social feeds, displays them in bundled form and integrates them into its own website. In this way, Swiss Olympic became the central point of contact for first-hand news about the London 2012 Olympic Games.

From the prototype, which has already been used for companies such as UBS, CS and Swiss-Ski, Nemuk has developed a multi-client capable tool in close cooperation with Required+. The backend allows for easy administration: categories, sources as well as team members and languages can be easily defined. Via the admin panel, colors and fonts can also be changed and the own logo can be used. Via iFrame code Somsum can be integrated into the own website. Somsum is a joint product of Nemuk and Required+, created in close cooperation with Swiss Olympic.
