The Morning Agency launches in Zurich on November 3, 2025. Founders Nico Podgorny, Marcel Benz and Sascha Borsai are declaring war on agency silos and see lived and genuine synergies as the new operating system for SMEs and brands.

Why start with a new agency in 2025? After more than 20 years in marketing, communication and advertising, it is clear to the founders of Morning that the processes and working methods in a wide variety of constructs have hardly changed. In disciplines that do not communicate properly with each other or are only linked in an organization chart. This means that a lot of potential is often lost for customers and campaigns.

"Taking something that has existed for a long time and restructuring it is much more difficult than doing it from scratch. We interlink strategy, data, creative and media not as a promise, but as a matter of course," says Nico Podgorny.

Morning stands for impact instead of costs due to unnecessary and fragmented structures, for data-driven decisions instead of gut feeling. Instead of coordination efforts on the customer side, the agency provides everything from a single source - with the aim of always analyzing consistently and honestly with customers: "What do you really need?"

Synergy instead of silos

Morning lives the one-stop approach as a competent consultant at partner level throughout the entire process as well as in operational implementation. One contact person, one goal. For SMEs and brands that don't want to leave advertising investment and impact to chance.

Marcel Benz: "Strategy is better when creation is involved at an early stage. Successful media is not created at the end of a process, but in interaction with strategy and creation, which in turn learns from the media based on data and is optimized. All of this is inseparably bundled with us."

A name with attitude

Morning is a conscious new beginning and the momentum in which data-driven ideas and concepts are created that hit the heart of the target groups in the best possible way. "We combine analytical precision and creative energy. Morning gets up a little earlier and is not a loudspeaker, but an amplifier. We call this Rise by synergy," says Sascha Borsai. The team operates compactly and works closely with permanent partners. The first mandates have already started.

About the founders

Since joining one of the first digital agencies in Switzerland 25 years ago, Nico Podgorny has laid the foundation for thinking holistically rather than separately about classic and digital communication. Thanks to his digital DNA, he always integrates media at the beginning of the creative process in order to create maximum impact across all channels. He also lives and breathes consulting and loves tackling problems and finding solutions with clients. In his last role, Nico Podgorny was Chief Client and Digital Officer at Serviceplan and Mediaplus in the House of Communication.

Marcel Benz has been managing and developing brands his entire professional life. He knows the challenges on both the client and agency side. Most recently, as CSO, he was responsible for the strategies for Serviceplan and Mediaplus. On the client side, he introduced the Orange brand in Switzerland and repositioned the airline Swiss. He stands for strategic and analytical brand work as well as data-driven communication strategies.

Sascha Borsai has been working as a concept developer, copywriter and creative director in various agencies for over 20 years. He entered the communications industry through his master's degree in advertising effectiveness research. He does not think of creation in isolation, but in close cooperation with strategy and media. For concepts with communication efficiency, creative campaigning, content marketing and storytelling that reach the target groups in the best and most effective way.
