Milestone 2012: Jury nominates 20 favorites
The jury for this year’s «Milestone. Swiss Tourism Award» had 92 diverse tourism projects from all parts of the country to choose from. From this wealth of entries, the jury today nominated 20 projects.
The Milestone recognizes outstanding and innovative achievements in the Swiss tourism industry and will be awarded on 13 November 2012 at the Kursaal in Bern. The award, worth a total of 33,000 Swiss francs, is presented in the categories "Outstanding Project", "Young Talent Award", "Environmental Award" and "Lifetime Achievement of a Personality". The jury consists of Mario Lütolf (Chairman), Director of the Swiss Tourism Association STV, Fiorenzo Fässler, Managing Director Smarket, Harry John, tourism expert, Barbara Rigassi, Managing Partner Brugger und Partner and Jürg Stettler, Head of the Institute of Tourism Economics ITW, Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
