Milestone 2011: Jury nominates 20 projects

The jury has selected 20 favorites and nominated them for the "Milestone. Tourism Award Switzerland". The prize recognizes outstanding and innovative achievements in Swiss tourism and will be awarded on November 15, 2011 in Bern.

A total of 77 applications from various subject areas and regions were received by the official closing date of the call for entries on August 31, 2011, according to a statement. The four prize categories "Outstanding Project", "Young Talent Award", "Environmental Award" and "Lifetime Achievement of a Personality" are endowed with a total of 33,000 Swiss francs. The jury, consisting of Elsbeth Hobmeier (Chair), Editor-in-Chief of HTR Hotel Revue, Mario Lütolf, Director of the Swiss Tourism Association STV and Richard Kämpf, Head of Tourism Seco, has nominated the following projects for the award:
