Maybaum Film acquires Venturesome
With the acquisition of the video production company Venturesome, Maybaum Film continues its expansion strategy and positions itself more strongly at the Lucerne location.
Venturesome will temporarily continue as "a Maybaum Film Company", but will be fully integrated in the distant future. Venturesome project manager Oliver Wigger remains in place as producer.
Venturesome has been in existence since 2016, specializing in brand building, advertising and explainer videos and serving companies such as Bruno's Best, SBB Rail Away, ewl, Pro Senectute, Vögele Reisen, Betty Bossi, Gübelin, Max Havelaar or TCS. The young team was able to build up an impressive portfolio within a short time.
"I am more than proud of what we have achieved with Venturesome in a short time. The decision to sell the company was not an easy one. But my heart beats for building something new. That's why the takeover offer came at exactly the right time," says Nick Metzger.
With the acquisition, Maybaum Film also intends to strengthen its commitment in Lucerne and Central Switzerland. A new office in the city of Lucerne is planned before the end of 2023. The location is to be managed by Oliver Wigger. Oliver Wigger: "I have already been welcomed with open arms by the 30-strong Maybaum team and could look after existing and new customers. Of course, I'm delighted that there will soon be another location in my home country."
Maybaum Film is also delighted. The acquisition not only brings new know-how to the team, but also an enriching portfolio. The Maybaum Film management comments: "The acquisition of Venturesome has been in the planning for some time. We are pleased that the contracts have now been officially signed. Our goal is to offer Venturesome's customers great added value. They have immediate access to our full service infrastructure which offers everything from strategy, production to distribution."
