Marty-Trezzini and Blick show news to go
Since January 1, Blick has been displaying its news on Livesystems screens. To launch this new content partnership in public spaces, Marty—Trezzini developed a silent video format designed to grab people’s attention as they go about their day.
Blick news no longer only appears in the app, on the desktop or in the newspaper, but now also on the go on over 13,000 digital screens throughout Switzerland.
The two clips by Marty-Trezzini deliberately work without sound: what initially looks like a normal news article on the screen turns out to be something else. A person enters the picture, reaches for the digital headline and takes it.
physically from the screen. A surprising, clear visual hook that works exactly where attention is otherwise fleeting. The video idea and implementation were realized by Marty-Trezzini in close collaboration with the Blick marketing team.
"The collaboration with Marty-Trezzini was inspiring and on an equal footing. Together, we created a concept that gets to the heart of the Blick DNA on the DOOH screens from Livesystems: with striking headlines, clear mechanics and a strong impact even without sound," says Maximilian Börke, Head of Marketing Ringier Media Switzerland.
The commercials have been running on all Livesystems screens in German- and French-speaking Switzerland and in Ticino since the New Year.
