Markus Kramer new partner at Brand Affairs
After nearly four years as Global Marketing Director at Aston Martin, Markus Kramer is joining Brand Affairs as a partner. At the Zurich-based consulting firm specializing in communications and brand management, he will serve national and international clients.
Seven successful years abroad lie behind 40-year-old Markus Kramer: After stints at Harley-Davidson, where he headed both EMEA marketing and sales development, and Aston Martin, where he was responsible for global marketing, the luxury goods marketing and sales expert is now returning to Zurich, but retaining a presence in the UK, according to a statement. From October 2013, he will become a partner at Brand Affairs, a communications and brand management consultancy.
Markus Kramer is looking forward to his self-set new horizon and the associated return to Switzerland. "At Harley-Davidson and Aston Martin, I was able to gain valuable experience not only in luxury goods marketing, but also in the area of international sales development and sales optimization," says Markus Kramer, who holds an MBA from the University of Oxford. "Building and expanding brands and the structures behind them is my great passion. I look forward to being able to pass on my know-how in a practical way and help companies strengthen their brands, marketing and sales and make them more efficient. As I have noticed in recent years, there is a strong demand in these areas, especially among companies with growth ambitions at home and abroad."
At Brand Affairs, Markus Kramer will join the management team as a Partner. He joins the team of Reto Zangerl (42) and Sebastian Kistner (32), both partners and members of the management board, who are mainly responsible for mandates in the areas of corporate communications, public relations and brand development.
