Lürzer's Archive honors Swiss photographers
A photograph by Zurich-based photographer Juvention Mateo Leon has made it onto the cover of the book *Lürzer’s 200 Best Ad Photographers*. The publication is released only once every two years.
He is only the second Swiss photographer ever to receive this honor. The new edition will be launched in a few weeks and, with more than 8,500 submissions from several thousand photographers from 32 countries, is the largest ever with 536 pages and has always been considered the bible of creative people.

Editor-in-chief Michael Weinzettl selected six cover options from all the submissions, with Juventino Mateo Léon's work ultimately being the most convincing. The motif was originally created as part of a free workwhich Juventino Mateo Léon realized together with the Swiss make-up artist Arlette Kobler. The Swiss duo Zofka also chose the motif as the cover for the new album.

Juventino Mateo Léon previously worked for Pianegonda, Condé Nast, Marionnaud, Philip Morris, Juwelier Kurz, Vanity Fair, Bayer and many more. His studio is located in Zurich, and he has been represented by Zurich-based Visualeyes International Artists since 2007. (hae/pd)
