Lion Report, Day 1: Meet & Greet at the Buffet
The coveted Cannes Lions will be awarded next week. Grischa Rubinick, a jury member and Executive Creative Director at The House, shows that the Côte d’Azur is about more than just sun, beach, parties, and food. He’ll be reporting live and behind the scenes.
The job as a jury member is rigorous. Without a doubt. And that's why, in addition to award cases, there's also something for the physical well-being. At the rich buffet, people feast on small talk. Strengthening for long jury days. The welcome by Cannes Lion CEO Philip Thomas was also strong, with an impressive speech on the great responsibility of the jurors. Until next Saturday it will be decided which campaigns will be awarded with a Lion.

While the jury meets in the restaurant La Côte at the Carlton Hotel, the construction work for the festival, which starts next week, is in full swing in the best weather. Not all tents and screens are up yet. But soon it will be said: And the winner is.
