Leading trade fair for logistics and packaging scores with high visitor quality
The Swiss industry gathering for the logistics and packaging sectors successfully combined «high touch» and «high-tech.» Intensive in-person networking, innovative special events, and the presentation of new products were the main focus for the 263 exhibitors and more than 4,700 visitors.

Halls 3 - 6 at Messe Zürich were consistently well frequented on both days of the fair (April 26 - 27), according to the press release. Easyfairs exhibition manager Marcus Hapig's assessment is correspondingly positive: "Switzerland's leading trade fair for logistics and packaging continues to be on course for success, which is confirmed by the re-booking rate for 2018 of more than 60 percent."
The logistics and packaging event with the individual trade shows Logistics & Distribution, Empack, Packaging Innovations, Label&Print is the central annual meeting place for the packaging industry and logistics specialists in Switzerland. In four exhibition halls, visitors were able to find out about different facets of the entire value chain, trends and innovations. The special areas "E-Mobility", "Supply Game" and "Art of Packaging Design" showed forward-looking solutions for the supply chain on the last mile to the customer, interactive gamification tools and effective packaging design in the marketing mix. "Logistics Talks", short presentations with "Speed Innovation Updates" and presentations of innovative logistics start-ups completed the program. A highlight of the fair was the presentation of the Swiss Packaging Awards, which took place for the first time during the fair.
Pleasing response
"We have received a lot of positive feedback from the market. Satisfied exhibitors and visitors are crucial for us as trade fair organizers," said Head of Event Marcus Hapig at the close of the trade fair. According to Hapig, the second staging of Logistics & Distribution went particularly well. "We succeeded in putting together a really exciting and varied program in close cooperation with our competence partner GS1 Switzerland. We want to and will continue to expand the trade fair concept in this direction. The Logistics Technology Innovation Park, an initiative of VNL for innovative start-up companies, which was held for the 2nd time, was also very well received."

"The integration of the award ceremony is a wonderful addition and enrichment of the trade fair in terms of content," said trade fair director Marcus Hapig, expressing his delight at the close and good cooperation with the Swiss Packaging Institute SVI.
