Laax opens Open Office with workstations directly in the ski resort
The Laax ski resort is introducing its latest innovation: The Bridge is a state-of-the-art workspace located 2,252 meters above sea level. The open-concept office is situated right in the heart of the snow-covered ski resort. What makes it special is that guests can step right from their workspace onto their skis or snowboard.
With The Bridge, Laax wants to offer all future-oriented entrepreneurs, start-ups and freelancers a platform that is unlike any other. "Whether you're looking for the next one-million-dollar idea or simply a place to retreat: Everyone can live out their creativity at The Bridge," knows Kristian Paasila, CEO of Inside Labs, the ski resort's innovation incubator. "The highlight: in just a few moments, you can swap your workplace for perfectly groomed slopes. With us, the boundaries between work and pleasure disappear!"
With this project, the Lifestyle Resort Laax is looking to the future. "Technology, sustainability, collaboration, openness: it's not just us who are developing. We want our guests to be able to do the same and fully exploit their innovative potential," continues Paasila.
Guests of the ski resort can book a Day Membership via the free "Inside Laax" app - with a valid lift ticket, the day costs from CHF 35 per person, without from CHF 100. Teams are welcome - they can even reserve an exclusive table or the meeting room. A small cinema with a retro design is also available to guests. Individuals and groups can also book monthly or annual subscriptions, some of which are even transferable. The infrastructure includes an on-site guide, fast internet and a restaurant.
