As Chief Communications Officer, she is responsible for strategic communication with the media, the public and employees and makes a significant contribution to positioning the company in a dynamic market environment.

"Karin Heim and her team have systematically developed and strengthened NZZ's communications over the past few years - both internally and externally," says NZZ CEO Felix Graf. "Communication creates orientation, builds trust and helps us to actively shape change. This is all the more important in times of transformation. I am therefore delighted that she is now also taking on this important role in the extended Executive Board."

Karin Heim has been working for the NZZ since 2018. Before joining NZZ, she held various management positions in corporate communications - including at Ringier Axel Springer Switzerland and the international technology group Bühler.
