Panasonic comes up with new products. As usual, they are advertised by Jung von Matt/Limmat. First up is the Lumix FX55. This little all-rounder has scene recognition and takes care of all the settings for a perfect photo itself. Jung von Matt/Limmat has implemented this with the Rubik motif: an unsolved Rubik's cube in front of the lens of the Lumix appears already solved on its LC display.
The new Full HD TV camcorder (HDC-SD5EG-K) comes with a feature that was previously only available in the professional sector: the pre-record function starts recording three seconds before the shutter button is pressed. So gone are the days when you only pressed the record button when the most exciting part was over. Or as lyricist Livio Dainese in the team of Alexander Jaggy and Lukas Frei sums it up in a suitably garbled headline: "Never miss the beginning again." The artwork was designed by Fernando Perez with Yves Gerteis and Christina Baeriswyl.
