Jury around Roland Brack honors Albanian entrepreneurs

Swissalbs, the Albanian-Swiss association, has announced the nominees for the coveted Entrepreneur Award. The award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurial achievements and serves as an inspiration for the entire Swissalbs community.

The award ceremony will take place on September 23 at the swissalbs Entrepreneurs' Ball at the Kongresshaus Zurich and will be conducted by a prominent jury, including BRACK.CH founder Roland Brack, National Councillor Andri Silberschmidt and elleXX co-founder Nadine Jürgensen. Over 500 guests, including founders, female entrepreneurs, investors and high-ranking representatives from business and politics, are expected to attend.

The swissalbs Entrepreneur Award 2023 is dedicated to the innovative strength of the Albanian community. The award will be presented during the swissalbs Entrepreneurs' Ball, which will take place for the third time on September 23 at the Kongresshaus Zurich. This event provides an inspiring platform for networking, exchanging ideas and promoting business opportunities. It is a unique opportunity to honor outstanding entrepreneurs who have achieved success in various industries and fields.

The seven nominees are:

Albana Rama: She is the CEO and founder of The Rainforest Company, one of the fastest growing foodtech brands in Europe. The startup sells sustainably produced and purely vegan products worldwide and recently raised €36 million in a financing round, which is considered one of the largest financing rounds in the German foodtech sector in 2022.

Taulant Lulaj: He is the founder and director of Myndset, a special education and integration service that coaches youth and adults and specializes in special education needs at school and work.

Qendrim Rrahmonaj: As founder and CEO of fidro GmbH, he offers solution-oriented financial services ranging from asset management and investment advice to cryptocurrencies and retirement planning.

Kristian Kabashi: He is a co-founder and board member of FinTech startup Numarics, a modern all-in-one financial services solution.

Vlora Rexhepi: As co-founder and CEO of Lola Tong, she is committed to sustainability in fashion and showcases the designers behind each fashion piece.

Kristian Oroshi: He founded TWO.jobs, a leader in social media recruiting that specializes in passive job seekers.

Endri Dibra: In 2018, he founded Arbrea Labs AG, a med-tech startup that develops AR and 3D software for plastic surgery.

The winner of the swissalbs Entrepreneur Award will be selected by a top-class jury, including Roland Brack, Nadine Jürgensen, Andri Silberschmidt, Vllaznim Xhiha and Jeton Tolaj.

Përparim Avdili, co-founder and president of swissalbs, expressed his excitement about the upcoming ball and emphasized the importance of this event in celebrating successful entrepreneurs as well as strengthening ties within the swissalbs community and fostering future business opportunities.

The swissalbs Entrepreneurs' Ball will be hosted by well-known food blogger and TV personality Zoe Torinesi and will also feature musical performances by Qendresa Rexhepi and Edona Reshitaj. In addition, high-profile speakers from the Swiss business community are expected to attend.
