Junghäni's: More privacy for animals

The Bern-based agency Junghäni’s has developed campaigns for the Canton of Bern’s Nature Conservation Department that are intended to encourage people to be more considerate of animals.

The Canton of Bern's Nature Promotion Department is responsible for the management of over two hundred nature reserves in the canton. Raising awareness among visitors is a central aspect of this work. Junghäni's was commissioned to launch a campaign to encourage young people in particular to show more consideration for animals in nature reserves. Instead of confronting young people with prohibition signs, the agency created a poster and advertising campaign with three entertaining subjects, as detailed in a press release. The images show animals being disturbed in intimate situations by onlookers.

The posters are displayed in the vicinity of various schools. At the same time, the teachers are contacted by post. On Naturfoerderung.ch pupils learn more about the nature reserves and can take part in a competition.

Responsible at the Nature Promotion Department of the Canton of Bern: Urs Känzig-Schoch (Head of Department), Erwin Jörg (Head of Support). Responsible at Junghäni's: Julien Junghäni (AD/CD), Martin Arnold (text), Crocidu Fresne (photography), W. Gassmann AG (printing).
