Advertising Yearbook: The winners have been chosen - Polyconsult receives award

The winners of the «Jahrbuch der Werbung» competition have been announced: In late 2009, the jury selected 48 entries from over 700 submissions by nearly 300 agencies; these will now be honored with the Silver Megaphone or as category and industry winners. The only Swiss entry to receive an award was the «Stopp Stand-by» print campaign by Polyconsult for Energie Wasser Bern. The Bern-based advertising agency emerged as the winner in the “Energy Supply” category.

The megaphone for TV commercial of the year goes to the Kempertrautmann agency for Audi quattro "Urban Carver". The specialist agency Elbkind impressed with its online campaign for Ritter Sport Olympia and receives the megaphone in the "Digital Media" category. The Hamburg-based creatives from Tribal DDB earn a megaphone for their ambient media campaign "ROF the world's longest love letter" for Deutsche Telekom. In the "Event" discipline, Publicis Group Austria and Saatchi & Saatchi Deutschland were convincing for T-Mobile Austria. Both agencies receive a megaphone for their implementation and idea for "Rain of Flowers". EURO RSCG receives a trophy in the category "Direct Marketing" for Quirin Bank. The award "Business-to-Business Campaign of the Year" goes to Trio-group for the client Art to move beuth & esser. The advertising agency Heimat receives two megaphones: for the Integrated Campaign for Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken and for the Campaign of the Year for Hornbach. The newcomer agency of the year 2009 are the Hamburg shooting stars Lukas Lindemann Rosinski.
The winner of the Silver Megaphone for Agency of the Year will be announced at the Megaphone event, the Advertising Yearbook Awards Ceremony, on February 4, 2010. The presentation of the megaphones will take place at Labels Berlin 2 on the Spree.
