Interim management of marketing for 20 Minuten has been arranged: Martin Lütgenau takes over

Restructuring in the marketing leadership team at 20 Minuten: Chief Revenue Officer Giovanni Cauterucci is leaving the company at his own request. Martin Lütgenau will assume operational leadership responsibilities as interim manager effective immediately and, together with CEO Bernhard Brechbühl, will set the course for the next phase of in-house marketing.

Martin Lütgenau is taking over the interim operational management of the 20 Minuten Group's marketing management team with immediate effect.

Martin Lütgenau was Managing Director of Digital Marketing at Burda from 2002 to 2024. From 2015 to 2024, he was Co-Managing Director of BurdaForward and was responsible for the digital publishing of FOCUS Online, CHIP, bunte.de and other brands. He now works as a consultant and interim manager and has already supported projects for 20 Minuten.

Giovanni Cauterucci has decided to leave the company and seek a new challenge outside the company. Together with Mehmet Inan, who is also leaving the company as previously announced, Cauterucci has built up 20 Minuten's own marketing and has co-managed it since the beginning of 2025. Giovanni Cauterucci joined 20 Minuten as Chief Revenue Officer in September 2023.

In order to optimize the management of marketing across the board, the entire area is to be managed by one person via the respective team leads in future. Discussions are currently underway to fill this position on the Executive Board.

Bernhard Brechbühl, CEO 20 Minuten Group: "We would like to thank Giovanni Cauterucci for his development work and the strong market entry of our own marketing. We wish him every success for the future. At the same time, we are delighted to welcome Martin Lütgenau to the team, an experienced colleague who will ensure continuity as interim manager and support us in setting the course for the future."
