London and Amsterdam are competing for the title of "Europe's most creative city. Currently, a few important global budgets have been parked in London again. DDB Tribal feels little of this in Holland.
Not in a Seefeld neighborhood, but in the pampas with a lot of industrial buildings, DDB Tribal in Amsterdam is located right next to an equally large functional building from Publicis. DDB and Tribal merged three years ago. "Since then, the motto has been "Born brand, raised digital. 116 people work in the agency, plus a few specialist companies in the same building, bringing the total to around 200. DDB Tribal won "Agency of the Year" twice in 2014, San Advertising Agency of the Year and spin awards in digital. Fifty percent of its business is local; the other half is international. A whole herd has already been captured by the Cannes Lions. There are also 53 Effies in the rack.

The agency is regarded in the industry as the largest training center in Holland and offers a wide variety of courses internally. In addition to lead agency Wieden & Kennedy, DDB Tribal also holds a major bite of the Heineken budget. The Amsterdam-based brewery is celebrated as "Marketer of the Year" at Cannes 2015. Another global budget is Adidas. Strategically important in the mission statement is the "Spark Innovation" concept. The aim here is to develop new products or business ideas for customers.
