Gestalt Communication: Safety Kit for BFU

The Swiss Council for Accident Prevention (BFU) regularly informs companies and their employees about safety-relevant topics with safety kits. Currently on winter sports - in collaboration with Gestalt Kommunikation.

Skiing and snowboarding are among the most popular sports in Switzerland. Every year, however, around 66,000 skiers and snowboarders are involved in accidents. The Swiss Federal Accident Prevention Bureau (BFU) raises awareness among companies - and their employees - about safe behavior on the slopes. For this purpose, the BFU provides companies with a free safety kit.

The Bernese advertising agency Gestalt Kommunikation was responsible for the concept and design. No shock images were required, but the chosen motif was still intended to make people think. Because even in the most beautiful winter sports conditions there is always a certain risk without prevention - symbolized by the snow monster.

The motif is used on posters, flyers including give-aways and a factsheet.
