Gemi: Internet and radio grow significantly

In a stable overall market, advertising pressure on the internet and radio increased significantly, while TV suffered a slight loss for the first time since the reintroduction of the Goldbach Index (Gemi) in November 2011.

There was also a slight decline in advertising pressure in the teletext sector and in electronic media as a whole. This is shown by the October edition of the Gemi. TV suffered a slight decline and closed October at 634 (638) index points. Internet recorded an increase of a full eight index points to 753 (745), while radio improved by six index points to 430 (424). With an increase of two index points 622 (620), Adscreen remains on course for growth, while Teletext 64 (65) recorded a loss of one index point in October. Electronic media as a whole lost two index points and closed at 639 (641), while the overall market remained constant at 236 (236).
