Gemi: Electronic media continue to grow
The advertising pressure for TV increased by seven points and, together with the online segment, led to an increase in electronic media.
Both radio and the internet and digital out of home have intensified compared to the previous month. The overall market grew by one point. These are the results of the Goldbach Index (Gemi) figures on advertising pressure in September 2015.
The Internet emerges as the winner of September. With constant growth over the year, the Internet now scores 827 points for the first time. The TV medium closed the month on a positive note with 660 points. Digital out of home also increased by 13 points. The advertising pressure for teletext remained unchanged from the previous month at 45 points.
Electronic media as a whole benefited from the strong increase in the Internet segment. The increase of seven points confirms the upward trend since June. The advertising pressure for the market as a whole has also risen by one point. This leads to a year-on-year increase.
