Frontwork: Jelmoli Zurich in the Nike look
As of Monday, Zurich has a new Nike store at Jelmoli. To promote the opening, Frontwork decorated all 60 windows of the three-story Jelmoli building overnight with Nike imagery.
On the first two opening days, photos of national and international athletes will hang in the windows. From Wednesday, Frontwork will replace 16 of the 60 pictures with images of visitors to the Zurich Nike store. The changeover will take place overnight - in three stages. The photos are taken at Jelmoli during the day and printed and mounted on the building the following night.
Meticulous planning was required to accomplish this work, as detailed in a press release. Frontwork printed 370 m² of fabric and carried out the complex installation work on site. The work was complex because the windows of the Jelmoli building are only accessible from the outside. The advertising technicians from Wallisellen had to unscrew each window in order to attach a picture inside. A major achievement, which the dedicated Frontwork team accomplished in just a few hours with the help of powerful printing machines, lifting platforms and skyworkers.
