Frontwork receives "Ethics in Business" seal of approval
The «Ethics in Business» Economic Initiative Guild has admitted Frontwork as a new member. It has awarded the agency its seal of approval for ethical conduct in business.
Sustainable action is essential for an SME these days, says Fabio Vareni, CEO of Frontwork. His company meets the special requirements in terms of ethical business practices. This was established by the University of St. Gallen as part of its assessment.
In order to receive the seal of approval, all participants undergo a standardized survey conducted by the University of St. Gallen. They answer questions on six aspects of corporate responsibility: corporate values and leadership, value-oriented HR work, commitment to the social environment, environmental protection, responsibility in the supply chain and product responsibility. If the companies pass, they are admitted to the Guild. A reassessment takes place every three years. Members of the Guild use the seal of approval to communicate their convictions to the outside world.
Acting responsibly
"Ethics in Business" supports medium-sized companies in Germany, Austria and German-speaking Switzerland that want to act fairly, responsibly and sustainably and thus shape and reshape the business world as a whole. The mentor of the business initiative is Ulrich Wickert. With his commitment, he wants to support medium-sized companies in taking on more social and ecological responsibility. The journalist is best known for his work as anchorman of the news program "Tagesthemen".
