Frontwork labeled Axa Main Tower
Frontwork produced and installed two pylons of impressive size for the Axa Main Tower in Zurich-Oerlikon. They tower 5.35 and 5.7 meters into the air.
The colors of the lettering match the dark natural stone and mirrored glass façade. According to the agency, they are intended to look monumental and elegant. They are made of steel and aluminum and are finished on the outside with a metallic paint. To achieve the required aura effect, the agency formed lettering from Plexiglas, inserted it through aluminum ends and illuminated it with contemporary, energy-saving and low-maintenance LEDs.
In addition, Frontwork realized all orientation signage in the interior of the Main Tower. In addition to the signage concept, the installation was also a challenging task, according to the agency. On the one hand because of the requirements of the city and architects and on the other because of the exposed location and the unusual size of the pylons.
