Photographer Remo Neuhaus and "his football stars
From January 9 to 13, the photo exhibition Photo15 will be on display in the Maag Event Hall. Among the exhibitors: advertising photographer Remo Neuhaus with his footballer portraits.
In spring 2014, a football match against poverty took place at the Stade de Suisse in Bern. This annual charity highlight was held in Switzerland for the first time. Countless former world-class soccer stars such as Zinédine Zidane, Figo, Ronaldo, Maldini, Elber, Cannavaro, Gullit and many more took part. The world selection plays for a good cause against BSC Young Boys.
Neuhaus' photographic idea: portraits of the world's soccer players. The entire proceeds of around 4,000 Swiss francs were donated by auction to the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. The difficulty: the stars stood in front of the camera for just 30 - 60 seconds. According to Neuhaus, all the footballers took part and helped to raise some money in addition to the game.
