Farmy.ch launches poster & radio campaign
The online farm store Farmy.ch delivers regionally and sustainably produced food «from the local farmer» directly to customers’ homes. An advertising campaign is now set to raise awareness of the startup throughout Switzerland.
The demand for products that are produced regionally & organically is high in Switzerland. Since Farmy was founded in the summer of 2014, the online farm store has grown by around 50 percent every month, according to a statement. In the meantime, the Farmy bike couriers are on duty almost around the clock, and the office they just moved into is bursting at the seams at rush hour.

Just like in Gottlieb Duttweiler's day
"We have hit a market niche that neither the big retailers nor the market drivers can fill," says Roman Hartmann, one of the founders of Farmy.ch. And Adrian Bührer, the first investor and member of the board of directors, adds: "We are actually like Migros in Duttweiler's day: We connect consumers directly with producers and cut out the middleman. As a result, the products are fresher and the quality is significantly better. The Internet helps us do that."

Everything the heart desires
What can you buy at Farmy? "Everything you would buy in a farm store or at the Bürkliplatzmarkt. Fruits, vegetables, meat, flowers, bread, dairy products and homemade products like jam or syrup. Either put together yourself, by subscription or for the very fast shoppers in product baskets put together by us. The difference is that we get it directly from the farmer and bring it to our customers," says Hartmann.

Parsnips from Brüederhof, bread from John Baker, flowers from Urs Bergmann Farmy attaches great importance to the selection of producers and the uncompromising focus on quality and transparency. All producers are described and identified. In addition to regional farmers, Farmy also exclusively offers bread from the Zurich bakery John Baker. The startup is equally proud to be able to distribute the flowers of Zurich florist Urs Bergmann.

Regional launch campaign - start on February 23rd
To expand its fan base and attract new customers, Farmy is launching a regional advertising campaign. In the greater Zurich area, the brand will be advertised on billboards, in radio spots, and online. Targeted member-get-member campaigns are also designed to attract attention. The entire campaign was developed by the Farmy team itself, from the radio spot and online sponsored content to the posters and member-get-member promotions.
